Bird Watching Tours/Festivals
Programs that provide sightseeing excursions for people who want to see and/or photograph birds in their natural habitat; and/or sponsor birding festivals during migratory periods, nesting seasons or other occasions on which birds of different species gather in a particular area. The festivals offer a variety of activities including naturalist-guided tours, speakers, photo workshops, art exhibits, bird banding demonstrations; and educational seminars. Also included are organizations that maintain bird watching venues, viewing stations and other amenities for use by birders.
